Community playlist
The Community playlist is a shared office soundtrack on Spotify, owned by Moinho Novo. Members who are eligible can search for music in the portal and add tracks instantly — no separate Spotify login required.
The playlist panel appears below the chat iframe on the Community tab (/customer/community). It is collapsible (Show / Hide).

Layout
The playlist panel has two columns:

Both columns scroll independently when the list is long. On small screens they stack vertically (search first, then the current playlist).
Adding a track
- Open Community and expand Community playlist (below chat).
- In Add a track, type at least two characters (song title or artist name).
- Pick a result and click Add. The track appears on the right-hand list straight away.
- Tracks already on the playlist show On playlist instead of Add — duplicates are blocked.
Only music tracks can be added (not podcasts or episodes).
Who added what
The right-hand list shows Added by {name} for tracks added through the portal. Spotify itself shows the Moinho service account as the adder; the portal keeps member attribution.
Each track title links to that song in Spotify. Use Open in Spotify under a track, or Open full playlist in Spotify at the top of the panel, to listen in the Spotify app.
Eligibility
You must be in the playlist’s audience group (typically members present today — anyone with a desk booking for the current calendar day). If you do not see the playlist section, either the feature is not enabled or you are not in the audience.
Limits and etiquette
- You can add up to 10 tracks per hour to keep the playlist manageable.
- There is no in-portal way to remove tracks — contact staff if something needs to come off, or staff can remove it in Spotify directly.
- Please add tracks you would genuinely want to hear in a shared workspace.
Troubleshooting

| Playlist section not visible | Confirm you have a desk booked for today, or contact us if you think you should be eligible |
| Cannot add a song | The track may already be on the playlist, or Spotify may be temporarily unavailable |
| Search returns nothing | Type at least two characters; try a different spelling or artist name |
